I’m Kelly, the heart behind barefoot+ember. This little dream of mine was born from my love of storytelling and memory-keeping. It’s my way of holding onto the raw, the real, and the beautifully honest moments that make up our lives

For me, photography has never been about stiff poses or picture-perfect smiles. It’s about the way you laugh when no one else is watching, the quiet glance that speaks louder than words, the touch that lingers long after the moment has passed
I’ll gently guide you when needed, but mostly I let things unfold naturally, because that’s where the real magic lives. My goal is always the same: to capture how it felt in that moment. The warmth, the energy, the emotion. Little fragments of time that turn into memories you’ll hold onto forever
