Barefoot Ember was born from my love of storytelling. Capturing the raw, the real, and the beautifully honest moments that make up our lives.
 

the name says it all: ‘bare’ for the unfiltered, genuine emotions I aim to capture, and ‘ember’ for the quiet warmth and joy that lingers long after a moment has passed. Whether I’m photographing a growing family, a glowing graduate on their formal night, or a quiet moment between soulmates, my goal is always the same... to capture how it felt. The small details, the unspoken connections, the moments that often go unnoticed. That’s where the magic lives.

 

my style is candid, creative, and deeply emotional. I’m not about stiff poses or perfect smiles. I’ll guide you just enough to help you feel relaxed and comfortable, then let the real moments unfold. From golden light portraits to cosy, in-between glances, I’m there to document your story as it naturally happens.

 

when I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually creating in other ways. Graphic design, interiors, or writing (yep, I'm working on a book!). I’m also a proud fur mama to Willow, my little sidekick, and a major Harry Potter fan (go Hufflepuff!). Since marrying my husband Kyle in 2020, we’ve explored ten countries together and I never say no to a good adventure, especially if Highland cows are involved (don’t ask me how many are on my camera roll).
